Miranda Lambert Gets Engaged (But It’s Not What You Think)

He liked it, so he put a ring on it. And no, we’re not talking about Anderson East.

During a meet and greet at her Saturday night show, Miranda Lambert was approached by a young man who got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. Completely surprised and ecstatic about the proposal, Lambert could not resist the cute gesture and gladly accepted to marry the little man of her dreams.

The wedding may be a long time coming though as her suitor is a boy named Sebastian who happens to be only six years young and Lambert wants to wait a good 25 years before she takes on his last name.

Lambert told her fans the reason behind the pink sparkler she wore on that special finger during her show, saying how much she appreciated his love for her.

“When he came to my meet and greet, he got down on one knee and he was such a gentleman. It may be my favorite proposal ever,” she said to the audience.

She even posted a collage of the moment on her Instagram, posing with her potential beau and claiming how adorable he was.

“I said YES! But he has to wait 25 years. this sweet boy Sebastian is a little gentleman. #pinkring #proposal #mademyday #jersey #spreadthelovetour,” Lambert wrote.

While that wedding is far off in the works, Lambert is spending the next few weeks finishing up her time on the road before exploring what’s next for her year. She is also currently promoting her new single, “Vice,” which is available on digital music retailers now.
